Better: in a study of X (subset) of a regions abandoned O&G, there was X well releasing liquids, with XYZ contaminants; composition exceeding the legislated thresholds; due to the cumulative volume and based on the recieving environments inability to aerobically and or by dilution dissolve the contaminants. Everything else is Environmentalism - and that does not drive our civilization!
