I took the challenge of dealing with water technologies while being an electrical engineer with a second degree in business administration. This happened in Austria while dealing with fine bubble diffusers.
Ever since I moved to Switzerland and still deal with green technologies, mostly applications for water and wastewater. 
At the end of the day electrons flow as water and air through conduits, and the automation I learned helps.
