The Problems in Achieving Sustainable Development in the Tannery Industry in Regard to Sewage Sludge Management
January Bień, Piotr Celary, Katarzyna Wystalska
ABSTRACT:
The paper discusses the issue of tannery sewage sludge management as one of the barriers in reaching sustainable development in the tanning industry. The Authors present the main characteristics, and its origins, of tannery sludge limiting the possibilities of their treatment and review the proposed solutions found in literature.
The paper focuses on identifying the strong and weak points of the most commonly used methods used for sewage sludge treatment as well as presents some novel approaches which remain at laboratory stage.

We want to develop a wastewater treatment project for a tannery in a Technology Innovation Center. It would be interesting to implement this tool for zero discharge and to evaluate alternatives for treatment and energy cogeneration. I would appreciate to receive information of you. Objective is to implement one or several WWTP for tannery industry in the city.

@jose luisHello Luis, could you please send us more information about the wastewater volume, content, ...etc... on valerie@pranasustainablewater.ch

hello Jose-Luis.Lets connect and discuss what are the possibilities of taking this ahead if you are serious.

Hello Jose-Luis, are you considering organic tanning or inputs (e.g. methylene blue) to get wastewater good enough to produce energy and clean water for irrigation? valerie@pranasustainablewater.ch

Dear Suhasini, Good day,
We are commoditising wastewater treatment capacities to increase investments in wastewater reuse (about 80% of wastewater remain untreated globally) using circular economy to give part of the dividends of wastewater valorisation to the wastewater suppliers as follows:

If you are interested in making our tool benefiting a zero discharge tannery, please advise if you have a wastewater treatment project for a sustainable tannery that could be financed via our tool and that could lead to energy production (biogas from wastewater/organic residues or other way to generate energy)? Thank you

Dear Valerie, I have a wastewater treatment project for tanneries. I think is good opportunity to evaluate alternatives for treatment and energy cogeneration. I would apreciate to receive information of you.

Am now a days experimenting on Zero discharge from tanneries. Hope that takes care of several problems faced.Still some more work to be done but using my patent IN 201811011885 titled BIOREMEDIATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOVING DAMAGING HEAVY METALS FROM INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENTS as a Inventor. Hopefully this should be done soon.

Jose, this patented technology of mine, allows zero chromium in Discharge and 100% reuse.Guide me as to how do we proceed next.

I want to warranty less than 0.5 mg./L of Hexavalent Chromium and less than 10 Mg/L of Total Chromium in the effluent of a tannery. What is the best technological option.
