Don’t forget my challenge to you:   What can you do differently in your regular routine that will impact everything else?  It’s no secret, if you do the same things your will keep getting the same things.  So, what can you change that will impact everything you do.

    1. Gadgets are just that gadgets. In real life they do not work and there is no technical reason for them working. I visited an air separation plant many years ago that had purchased a gadget. The maintenance manager had told me he had purchased a gadget and since he had things were going very well following it.  He showed it to me. It was in its box in the warehouse. I looked at him and said, "it isn't installed." He said, " it doesn't matter. Since I purchased it the scaling has stopped.". So there is a reportable success.

Of course there is also the failure at an Eastern University. They bought gadgets and installed them on their boiler makeup water lines. 4 months later, they blew boiler tubes on all 3 new boilers. They went back to nasty chemicals. There are scientific rules. You do not change physical chemistry with mumbo jumbo.

"A fool and his money are soon parted." That is the science behind gadgets.
